I started at PBK Architects May 1, 2015 working primarily on environmental design for K-12 schools, higher education, and sports buildings/structures. Because most architect firms don’t have an in-house graphic design team, we tripled the amount of projects within 3 years and the opportunity for a creative agency in a niche environment became apparent. I took a balanced, modern approach wanting to create a rounded wordmark. The circle/ring attributes along with our brand colors are a nod to our inspiration; the small but deadly, the vibrant, Blue Ring Octopus.
